3D Models Development

There are several ways of developing a 3D model. The 3D models development can be divided into two groups: manual and generated (automatic, or semi-automatic). Our team is mainly focused on generated models for further use in simulations.

One of the fields of study we are focused on is Bioinformatics. For the University Hospital Ostrava, we develop 3D models from CT (Computed Tomography) or MR (Magnetic Resonance) images. For reconstructions, the supercomputer is used. Some algorithms also use Intel Xeon Phi co-processors.

Another field we are focused on is the acceleration and optimization of methods for image, video, or LiDAR data reconstruction.
