Today supercomputers are able to solve CFD problems which were, due to their complexity, unsolvable few years ago. In environmental modeling CFD techniques could be employed to solve problems of air pollution of large geographical areas such as cities, regions and even countries. For disaster management and decision makers time is a major issue. To obtain results for such complex simulations as mentioned above, the deployment of high performance systems with thousands of cores is necessary. Our researchers could provide such resources together with expertise in the area of

  • flood simulation,
  • air pollution in vicinity of industrial areas and roads,
  • leakage of dangerous substances.
