This R&D is carried out under Pre-seed project at VSB Technical University of Ostrava.
Main objective of this project is the development of new concept of disc brake cooling system. GCS brake system is suitable mainly for racing cars where extreme cooling of disc brakes is needed. This new system could be applied for steel, carbon or carbon/ceramic disc brake systems. Although the development of GCS brake system is oriented towards F1, application in automotive and aerospace industry will be possible.
